The idea to create a Official Penya in Ireland began during a Barça match. A small group of catalan friends that usually watch Barça in Frazers decide to become official followers creating the Penya Blaugrana d'Irlanda - O'Conneletes.

Although the founding members are catalan, our purpose is open this project to the Irish community, and barça supporters from another countries that are living currently in Ireland.
So, if you are a real Barça follower, do not hesitate to join us!!!

O'CONNELETES, OUR IRISH CELEBRATION VERSION OF CANALETES |
The Canaletes fountain in Barcelona is famous for being the celebration point and symbol for the FC Barcelona supporters.
Here in Ireland we have created our special version of this fountain with O'Conneletes: a mix with the words O'Connell and Canaletes. The past celebrations of La Liga and the Champions Leage in Dublin had the focal point in the Spire, the heart of Dublin, in the middle of O'Connell St. Due to the high meaning and feeling of O'Conneletes, we took it for the name of the official penya. Therefore the full name is: Penya Blaugrana d'Irlanda - O'Conneletes.
